Serra Archimede ® is a photovoltaic greenhouse that successfully combines Agronomic tests have been carried out which have highlighted the possibility of growing crops in need of light; this result allows to have a wide range of choice of crops in the creation of agronomic plans. Serra Archimede ® is also the method for securing an industrial electricity production project on agricultural land, because it is harmoniously and coherently combined with high-profitability agricultural needs.
Serra Archimede ® is the most economical and practical photovoltaic greenhouse on the market. Ask for info.

THE AGRONOMIC TEST
Serra Archimede ® is a photovoltaic greenhouse that successfully combines agricultural and energy needs.
Our Agronomists will be able to create the Plans and the necessary Agronomic Reports on projects based on Serra Archimede ®.
THE 5 OBJECTIVES REACHED BY SERRA ARCHIMEDE

1) AGRONOMICAL objective:
Serra Archimede ® works like a real greenhouse, and not like a shade house. This objective is made possible thanks to the light dynamics determined by the shapes and materials. Furthermore, the internal conformation respects the methods widely acquired by greenhouse operators. This objective locks in the Agrovoltaic and Agrosolar projects with a view to calculating certified agricultural income.
2) ECONOMIC objective:
Serra Archimede ® is the cheapest photovoltaic greenhouse on the market. This objective is made possible thanks to careful engineering, technical and structural choices.
3) TECHNICAL-ORGANIZATIONAL objective:
The components that make up Serra Archimede ® are simple to manufacture for companies that work with tubular profiles and no special photovoltaic panels are needed, but rather the most common ones available on the market. Installation is practical and quick and no complex and invasive masonry works are required.
4) ENVIRONMENTAL objective:
In the event of disinstallation, the ground is easily returned to its original conditions, since masonry works such as curbs, inverted beams and cemented reinforcements are absent.
5) PHOTOVOLTAIC objective:
The construction scheme of Serra Archimede ® is such as to determine a high density of photovoltaic surface in the entire area used by the greenhouse bodies: 1 MW = 11,600 m2 (2024).

Other photovoltaic greenhouses
(pseudo greenhouses)
Manufacturing and installation COSTS:
VERY HIGH
AGRONOMICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- very limited crop choices
- unpractical methods of use by operators
ECOLOGY:
In the event of disinstallation, the land reclamation work in which there are underground masonry works such as curbs and inverted beams will be burdensome.

SERRA ARCHIMEDE
Manufacturing and installation COSTS:
Very low - 1/3 or in some cases 1/4 of those of PV pseudo greenhouses.
AGRONOMICAL REQUIREMENTS:- vast crop choices for winning agronomic plans
- traditional methods of use by operators
ECOLOGY:
In the event of disposal, the land is returned to its original conditions in a simple and easy way.
