The Serra Archimede Project provides for the union of harmonized technological excellence.

Serra Archimede allows the possibility of integrating various technologies in need of electricity into the farm, making them sustainable with the possibility of accessing tax reliefs and national and EU aid thanks to the "green" approach.

The structure was designed to avoid masonry works such as curbs and inverted beams, in order to respect the agricultural territory and maintain sufficient conditions for structural checks.
This result makes Serra Archimede the cheapest photovoltaic greenhouse solution in the world.

The engineering aimed at offering a familiar structure to common greenhouse cultivation methods, with large tunnels (9 m), roof management and maintenance.
I Vantaggi Tecnici di Serra Archimede ®

Solar diffusion: Thanks to the shapes, proportions and materials used, the sunlight diffuses inside so as to strongly attenuate the shadow of the panels.

Large tunnels for optimal agricultural management

Through the special shape of Serra Archimede ® and a particular opening system it is possible to extract hot air from the ridge.

The combination of roofing film and photovoltaic panels has imposed a particular waterproofing and rainwater collection system designed for Serra Archimede ®.

The engineering of Serra Archimede ® involved rapid installation methods without building work, fully respecting the agricultural nature of the land.

Interventions from the outside are possible through walkways designed to ensure practicality and safety.

Practical methods of application and tension of covering films

Serra Archimede ® is the cheapest and best performing photovoltaic greenhouse on the market
The REGISTERED INDUSTRIAL DESIGN MODEL

The specific SHAPE of Serra Archimede ®, registered and protected, embodies all the technical needs that are the objective of the Agro-Energy Formula.
This specific SHAPE, in fact, determines:
- a balanced positioning of the photovoltaic panels to allow the entry and diffusion of LIGHT inside the greenhouse.

- The tension of the most used plastics for solar diffusion.

- The structural balance that meets the needs of response to loads and stresses to reduce the use of metal carpentry to a minimum.

- Air extraction for indoor climate management.

- The creation of a greenhouse environment familiar with traditional cultivation methods in a protected environment.

- Modularity to accommodate the shapes of the land on which to plant the projects.

- The modularity for the structural calculations to be filed, if necessary, with the competent authorities
